Parenting Consultancy

Parenting is one of our most challenging and important jobs, and it often comes with feelings of uncertainty and overwhelm. The Parenting Consultancy service that I offer is a unique resource for parents that gives them more than just a space to talk. It aims to provide support and guidance. Instead of generic advice found in books or podcasts, it aims to help with the issues specific to your unique circumstances.

My colleagues from Nightingale counselling and I came up with the idea for the service as we were seeing in couple and individual therapy more and more parents struggling with the extremely hard and important job of raising their children, without damaging them throughout the process or ruining their relationship or personal mental health or all of those together.

My own struggles and endless research as a mother of a new born baby however were the main driver behind the idea. All the conflicting advice, lack of information and parent blaming out there and my strong desire to help my son form a secure attachment made me come out with Parenting Consultancy.

How the Service Came to Be?

  • Personalised, specific advice—not general information.

  • Focus on strengthening your relationship with your children.

  • Help ensuring your child feels heard, valued, and loved, rather than controlled.

  • Helping you form secure attachments.

What Makes This Service Different?

"The best gift we can give our children is a secure attachment. My goal is to help parents build that foundation—creating strong, healthy, and happy children."

- Dafina Ganeva

With over 10 years of experience in childcare and education, plus my journey as a therapist and mother, I bring a deeper understanding of the challenges parents face. Since starting this service almost four years ago, I’ve had the privilege of working with families across the UK, helping them navigate a wide range of issues. Seeing the transformation in these families has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. If you’re looking for support on your parenting journey, I’m here to help.
